The Edgewood Difference
What is the Edgewood Difference?
“It’s wellness, plain and simple. I want to go home and they’re going to get me there.”
At Edgewood, skilled rehabilitation is highly individualized with no imposed minimum or maximum rehab requirement. The rehab plan of care is dictated by resident needs, desires and ability with services available seven days per week. We reduce lengthy stays so rehab clients can return home sooner.
“It’s staff people I know…who happen to know exactly what they’re doing.”
In the top 3% of nursing homes in the country with regard to resident-centered care, Edgewood has a policy of staffing consistent assignments with highly capable care teams. Even the most complex medical needs are cheerfully and skillfully handled by the same people every day.
“It’s five star service and I don’t want to settle for anything else.”
Inspection history, staffing and quality measures are all factors in Edgewood’s rating with the federal government. As a Best Nursing Home with US News and World Reports and the only three-time New Hampshire Quality of Life Award winner, Edgewood receives top marks for an unfailing responsiveness to resident needs and preferences. Resident and family reviews are stellar – 100% would recommend the facility to a friend.
“It’s state of the art care delivered with good old-fashioned bedside manner.”
Edgewood is independently owned and operated by Patricia Ramsey. Not a corporation, not a conglomerate, Patty knows families and residents by name and makes sure every aspect of care is top notch.
Dr. Sarah MacDuffie’s team of practitioners is in the building five days each week, taking time to meet with residents and families. Offering an unusually high level of medical coverage, Dr. MacDuffie supports Edgewood’s commitment to the things that matter most…the things that make a difference.
