The Edgewood Centre is a skilled nursing facility in southern New Hampshire that has been privately owned and operated by the Ramsey family for over 30 years.

• Edgewood has been independently owned and operated since 1972 by the Ramsey family. Patty Ramsey is the sole owner and is on-site at least 5 days a week.
• The Edgewood Centre has 156 beds dually licensed for both skilled and intermediate levels of care.
• The Edgewood Centre provides medical and skilled rehabilitative care following joint replacement or cardiac surgery, illness, accident, stroke, or for other medically complex conditions.
• Edgewood's specialties include orthopedic rehab, cardiac and pulmonary care, IV therapy, wound care, pediatrics, hospice care, tube feeding, diabetes care, and nutrition management.
• Edgewood’s care is highly individualized. There are no imposed minimum or maximum rehab requirements. The plan of care is dictated by resident needs, desires, and abilities.
• Edgewood is in the top 3% of nursing homes in the country in adopting resident-centered care (also called culture change.)
• Residents in Edgewood’s short stay rehab program have a 21-day average length of stay.
• Edgewood has earned the highest rating of five stars at Healthgrades.com, the leading independent health care ratings organization.
• The facility is staffed at an unusually high staff to resident ratio ensuring personal, prompt attention for both residents and families. In addition, care is provided by consistent caregivers who know the residents they work with well enough to anticipate needs, notice changes, and connect as family.
• Edgewood’s work force is skilled and stable: 25% have greater than 10 years of service and 50% of Edgewood employees have worked at the facility for 5 years or longer. In addition the Administrator, Director of Nursing Services and Rehab Director have worked at Edgewood for 19, 14 and 20 years, respectively.
