The search for a unique nursing home in New Hampshire starts and ends right here at The Edgewood Centre.
We are a 156 bed skilled nursing and intermediate care facility offering an array of services from skilled rehabilitation to hospice care and pediatrics to Alzheimer’s/dementia care.

Never a Dull Moment
When you pass through Edgewood’s front entrance, you will notice immediately the pleasant hum of activity and conversation: an Irish fiddler performing in the living room; physical therapists working with residents in the gym; our resident theatrical troupe rehearsing on the sun porch; residents playing cards and laughing together; children singing “Happy Birthday” to a resident friend.
An Open Invitation
Edgewood has captured the best elements of home in a happy family-friendly environment. Family members are welcome at Edgewood any time of the day or night and may join residents for meals and activities free of charge.
Knowing what to say or do when visiting a resident is sometimes difficult for families. Imagine how much more comfortable you will feel enjoying lunch together on the porch or passing the time attending a concert or a wine and cheese party.
Resident-Driven Care
Once each month the Resident Council meets to bring up issues, voice concerns, and discuss favorite events from the preceeding month. Staff members know that issues raised by the council are of the highest priority.
If the residents want something changed, the owner, managers, and staff work to make it happen. Residents drive the care…and the decision making.
Family Advocacy
The decision to place someone you love in a nursing home can be a difficult one. At The Edgewood Centre we want families to know their involvement matters.
Our Family Council meets quarterly allowing families to sit down with the owner and administrator to hear news of the facility, raise issues, and take part in the decision making. Family council members, for example, taste test items from each new seasonal menu and drive decisions about issues such as parking availability and holiday celebrations.
