The Kind of Gal You'd Like to Meet
When we were kids, we all knew that kind of person- the one who knew how to cheer you up when you needed it, the one who you could really trust in a pinch, the kind of person who would pick you first for their team. That person you knew, maybe she was like Susie.
Susie Bloomberg came to work at Edgewood in 2005 to be a licensed nursing assistant, arguably one of the toughest and most rewarding jobs in the world. Susie's two children attend the early learning center (the same center she attended when she was a toddler) and she met her husband at Edgewood. She was nominated for the LNA of the year honor because she's one of those people with a big, giant heart. You can tell by the way she treats every resident with the dignity, respect, and individuality they deserve. She is passionate about what she does and truly treats residents and family members like long lost friends. She's the kind of gal you want on your team and she's one of Edgewood's star players. Congratulations, Susie, and thanks for showing all of us how to put our heart into what we do each day.
