Through a Nurse’s Eyes

Through a Nurse’s Eyes

My father in law passed away at the Edgewood Centre last month.

I have been a nurse for over 37 years. I applaud the exceptional, amazing and caring staff at Edgewood. The care that my father in law was given for the three years he lived there was exemplary.

If he needed two people to help him be positioned comfortably four or five times a day so that it would be right for him, they did it with a smile and a “no problem” attitude! It truly is an amazing place.

My husband and I would primarily visit on Sundays, when most nursing homes have a skeleton crew. Not Edgewood.

Any change in Papa was quickly addressed, no matter when. The support and love the staff showed my father in law and his wife really leaves me speechless and so thankful.

It is such a fabulous caring community at Edgewood.
