Edgewood Wins End of Life Care Award

Beacon Hospice presented Edgewood with their 2011 End of Life Care Award in a ceremony in the living room with representatives from Beacon, residents, and staff.

Beacon chose Edgewood based on the staff, who are “highly compassionate caregivers who are professional and dedicated to honoring individual choices.”

“All of the staff play an integral part in the care and support of residents on hospice services, allowing families and residents to direct their care at end of life. In addition, staff at Edgewood desire to educate and be educated and we applaud them for that level of professional dedication.”
